Oh my goodness..baby jay's and baby grackles are so L-O-U-D.
One year a baby Jay was sitting in the middle of the driveway and we had to leave so I was sort of walking behind him gently persuading him to move on and Mom dive bombed us from above. She meant business! I do love to watch them feed though. So cute with the whole splayed wing thing.
Here is to hoping you can shake both the rain and the cold.
Rain has let up for the present, although we're threatened with a reprise late in the day. I actually had a burst of energy today. Maybe there's a connection?
It's definitely noisy in the great outdoors! Just this morning we've seen a cardinal fledgling with parents, and a purple finch fledgling with its dad.
