Such a great pattern, but was wondering what the guage is...I am in the middle of knitting on myself in the round with thick Scheepjes wol (Vermont) and would like to get it as close to the style shown as possible!

Just finished this lovely hat and I am so happy with it. Just large enough but not too large. I sewed a thin elastic around the rim to make it super comfy and super practical. These hats are so in this winter, so thanks for the perfect pattern! I love it!

I LOVE your hat! It looks great on you. Thanks for sharing the pattern. I am trying to knit it but I am having trouble getting the guage right. It is very loose. It would be a very lacy hat. My question is, should it be that loose and I shouldn't worry or should I add more stitches and go down a needle size?

Thanks for the excellent pattern, your hat is delightful and you look most lovely in it. Here's my effort! I used a chunky yarn, instead of the 2 held together, but it was so quick and easy that I think I'll make a fluffy one too...

Awww I just made this hat for me and my little sister took it for herself. Now my best friend wants one and I still need to knit myself a replacement... what a fun treat. I used Chunky Galway from Plymouth and it worked superbly. I used 2 skeins right to the end exactly...it was meant to be!
