Gravatar This is simply not believable.

I've been demonstrating all over the country since the 1960s, and I would probably have heard about any program that would pay me for it. Think about it for a minute. Why would anyone pay to fly kids around to demonstrate when it would much cheaper and more effective to just hire them where the demonstration is to be held? I'm not suggesting that some organizations (such as the Republican Party during the Florida Election Demonstrations in 2000) aren't paying expenses for demonstrators. Flying them around on a continuing basis, though, isn't something that any organization (even the Republicans) would do.

This appears to be just more silly lies from the National Review staff. Let's hear some details on this. Names, times, et al. I won't be holding my breath. It's easier to just slur without evidence, isn't it?

People who repeat lies without research may be considered liars, too. This sort of untargetted libel is becoming a staple of right-wing political discourse. Shame!
