Perhaps, when Karine Foster left her job with Heather Wilson's office, she shouldn't have told everyone that she was running in that district against McKoy? Seems like the famous republican discipline broke down during recent Republican attempts to consolidate behind candidates.

I'm glad you ran the retraction. As far as running candidates for office is concerned, I think we all share in that responsibility. Party leadership needs to raise money and provide the tools, volunteers and infrastructure to win.

Candidates need to step up on their own. Good candidates aren't recruited. Good candidates step up and get noticed. We all need to look in the mirror and ask ourselves how many people have we involved in the process in the last month? How many more are we going to get involved in the next month?
