Thought you might be interested in House Bill 150 which I introduced last session. It would require pharamacies to disclose drug prices to a consumer upon request allowing for competitive price shopping.

I read HB 150, and it seems pretty straighforward although not necessarily needed and definitely unfair. Without the law, people are free to call a pharmacy and ask for prices. If the pharmacy does not want to disclose the prices, the consumer is free to purchase the drugs from another source that is forthcoming with the information.

Since we do not require that every type of business disclose their prices over the phone, it would seem unfair to single out this industry.
