Mario - It's the same law the state has. It allows businesses to petition the dept. of labor to pay below the minimum wage. So, you care so much about this issue - did you lobby the state to change the law last session.

It is not the same as the state law. Go re-read the language. ACORN's proposal says nothing about petitioning the department of labor for an exclusion. It simply excludes the disabled from earning the proposed inflated minimum wage.
No, I did not lobby the state for anything last session. However, I'm sure ADAPT did lobby on behalf of their members, and they find the "proposed wage law reprehensible."
