How can you believe Wertheim when a radio announcer asks a simple question and for 4 minutes he refuses to answer. John, just answer the question.

It's hard to believe you have the nerve to comment on the balanced budget and record surplus issue when our Republican U.S. House, U.S Senate and Bush administration are spending money like there's no tomorrow on pork and running a deficit that's truly massive. Care to comment on that in a post someday?
Come on Mario, act like a Democrat and have the nerve to criticize your own!

Barb, I'm not happy about federal spending levels. They are out of control. In my humble opinion, it is because too many Republicans are acting like Democrats. I surely don't want to join them.

Um, the last Democratic President balanced the budget and grew a large surplus. It's the Republicans we can't trust with our money.
My point was that although Democratic commenters generally are equal opportunity critics, giving those deserving of call outs within their own Party the business as much as they critique the Republicans, I can never seem to find any critical analysis of the Republican follies on any Republican blog. Can you explain why that is?

Both Parties (Republicans and Democrats) remain the parties organizing its members for the interests of a few, not parties of constituents organizing for the interests of the Many. Both Political Parties are controlled by lobbyist and interests which leads to Rampant Cronyism and Corruption. In my humble opinion, Bush is unabashed in his efforts to moblize the power of Government to serve the Wealthy.
