Pete Domenici is also famous for this tactic and uses it in schools in the north, Abuqiu, tierra amarilla, etc. . . .

I guess there's nothing wrong with a republican doing this, right, only when democrats do it?

Mario, this whole blog is bizarre. You read something I wrote on my blog, took it totally out of context, and you don't even have the basic facts straight. The stickers were a reminder for parents to vote. Period. Is it also using children as pawns to remind parents to attend PTA meetings? Isn't voting as wholesome as mom and apple pie - just like the PTA? Last I heard, high voter turnout - for folks for or against the issue - is a good thing! The stickers were paid for by the campaign - NOT the schools - and the principals at the schools had the right to veto the use of them. Some principals cared that their parents be educated on the issue and that they turn out to vote - period. We were never able to even use the words "vote for" in regard to the special election while talking with parents and teachers. All we could say is "vote."

A couple comments regarding putting a sticker on school kids. But only one comment on Governor Richardson's campaign ads. What is wrong with that picture.

Gravatar I'm not sure what I took out of context. You stated in your original post it was a campaign tactic. You restated again in your comment that the campaign paid for the stickers. If the campaign paid for it, I want to know if the stickers had disclaimers. Second, I want to know if schools should be sticking campaign stickers on kids?

As far as putting the principals into the position of having to veto distribution of the stickers, you have got to be kidding. Have you seen what this Governor does to those who don't go along with what he wants? Governor Richardson is notorious for cutting funding for those who don't act in accordance with his whims.
