Below was our good ol' Governor Richardson on Fox News Sunday yesterday being interviewed by host Chris Wallace. Wallace does a good job of hounding Richardson, and I believe Bill all buts says he will pursue the Presidency once elected next year.........
WALLACE: Gentlemen, we're running out of time and I've got to ask you both, and it seems that Governor Richardson has taken us right there, about 2008 and who sees a president when he looks in the mirror.
WALLACE: Governor Richardson -- and I hope you'll be equally brief -- there's a report this week about you going to a fancy Georgetown dinner party, and let's put up on the screen what the report said. Richardson was quoted by one guest as saying, "I'm running and you can tell people that." Two others recalled him saying, "I'm going in 2008."
Governor, simple yes or no question. Is that story true?
RICHARDSON: Well, you know, this is the season for rumors. What I've said and I've always said, Chris, I got to get re-elected in one year. I've got a broad agenda in New Mexico. I love being New Mexico governor. New Mexico has been very good to me. We'll see after '08.
WALLACE: Well, not after '08. That will be a little late. But did you say at that party -- simple yes or no -- I'm going?
RICHARDSON: Those are rumors. You know, this was one of those dinner parties where there were a lot of people supporting a bunch of candidates.
WALLACE: Well, you could end the rumor, Governor.
RICHARDSON: Well, no, that is incorrect. I said that beyond '06, we're going to take a look at a lot of options.
Richardson began his Quest for President the day he authorized State Money to put up a Billboard in New York City, with his "MUG SHOT" on it. Richardson is a Liar and has used New Mexicans and their tax dollars to move his Ego Centric Opportunistic Greed "Movidas" such as purchasing his New Jet and Rose Parade Float. Richardson has taken advantage of the System and he should return all money that was spent to promote himself to the Department of Finance. Poor Richardson, came to New Mexico from Back East and Mexico and has used New Mexicans as Prostitutes and now is running for Gov. and President at the same time on New Mexicans DIME. What I understand, Richardson comes from a very wealthy family in Mexico which automaticlly makes him a Rich Kid that was raised by a Nanny. Richardson, New Mexicans are not your Nanny. Eli Chavez
What is the matter with being coy about running for president? George Bush did the same thing when he was considering the Presidency as Governor of Texas and traveling to Washington and elsewhere. I'm sure you don't have the courage to post all of his evasive, coy answers or his travel schedule prior to running for President.
Richardson has the right to pursue the Presidency if he wants just like anyone else. I don't see you criticizing the travel of Sen. John McCain, Sen. Sam Brownback, Governor Owens, Governor Huckabee or any of the other republican possible presidential candidates.
McCain, in fact, was on "The View" last week. That's more embarassing than anything Richardson has done so far.
If they were Governor of my state and being less than upfront, I would be complaining.
Senator McCain is a man of Honor.
ABE: Richardson should pay his own way and not use New Mexico Taxpayers Money to further his Presidental Quest. Today ABQ Journal tell's it like it is. Richardson has abused the State Personnel Board to hire his Cronnies. Richardson should return all taxpayers money with interest. Richardson is a Real Phoney Baloney. Eli Chavez
