Is Joe Monahan on Patsy payroll? Doesn't he have to disclose stuff like that?

When the stakes were high and New Mexicans needed a principled Congressperson to step up and attack corruption at the highest levels, Heather Wilson proved she wasn't up to the task.

So that we have a level playing field.
When the stakes were high and New Mexicans needed a prinipled Attorney General to investigate corruption at the office next door. Patricia Madrid proved and it is documented that she was not up to the task.
I can't wait for the TV advertisement with the letter for Governor Johnson to Patricia Madrid asking for an investigation. We will be seeing this one over and over.

I was referring to CharlieABQ's post John and I understood it well.
It was the lame "Republican culture of corruption" attack that Nancy Pelosi has trained him to say.
Heather is on record for having DeLay step down as House leader. The measly $1000 she got from Abramoff was donated to the Boy Scouts.
All Madrid has is her record on fighting crime and an almost as John Kerry's AG. Not a great start to an overhyped candidate that will supposedly beat Heather handily.
Rubber Stamp Patsy is going to have to do a hell of a lot better than going after pay day loan companies and doing what Chuckie Schumer tells her to win.
I can't wait till she opens her yap and we can all hear what she stands for. I already know what she's about.
Madrid will tilt the balance in congress towards the forces that want to see America fail in Iraq, lose the war on terror, raise taxes, take God out of public discourse, disrespect and burn our nation’s flag, instill their left wing ideologies upon us all and
defeat the agenda of President Bush.

Chris, thanks. The problem for the opposition of the adminstration and the Republican congress is they no longer are the sole provider of media information. Look at this blog. Great information and usually insightful comments. So as long as the traditional media continues to walk lock step with the liberals, they will be losing market share and audience

To Jeff Kemp:
I don't know if Joe Monahan is on Madrid's payroll or not but why would you think so when he has come out with an example or her making contradictory statements?

I don't think that it's moronic to note that Madrid's likely opponent is no great shakes at opposing corruption, either. Nancy Pelosi had nothing to do with my thinking on this. I'm not a Democrat, and, even if I were, I doubt that I'd be the Pelosi flavor.
No, Heather isn't the Attorney General, so perhaps my attempt at cleverness breaks down as analogy. On the other hand, her opposition to changing the rules to permit DeLay to continue as House leader came well after the issue was already decided. The $1,000 contribution from Abramoff is all she's reporting, and she sent $1,000 to the Boy Scouts.
Here's a legitimate question for informed readers. Heather and other Congresspeople have made much of giving back Abramoff's contributions to them. In what sense is taking money from a guy who stole it from Indians under false pretenses and then donating it to a non-Indian group giving anything back? Wouldn't it have been better to give the money back to the Indians (including especially the Sandia) from whom it was stolen in the first place?
If somebody steals your wallet and gives it to me, do I get off the hook if I give your wallet to my cousin?
BTW, with regard to the name-calling I'm very willing to bet anything Chris or anyone else on this list wants to wager on the outcome of any standardized IQ test. The loser pays for the testing and whatever stakes are settled on. In addition the winner get bragging rights.
Please make the wager as large as you can handle. I can use the money.
