Mario, we need government involved because it is clear that individuals and business don't make good decisions. Just look at the Internet, totally unregulated. Individuals and business can go on the website and order goods and services at very cost effective prices. Cost of goods and service have been reduced. Only the truly good business survived the tech meltdown in the 2000-2001 timeframe.
Without government subsidies or regulations, the Internet does not provide essential services. Also, you have to have a computer and an account to access the Internet what about the people that can't afford it.
Wouldn't been nice for government to offer tax incentives to business that would have allow the government to pick the good websites and make it unprofitable for the bad websites. Now individuals have to decide which websites to use. Not good

This sounds interesting, basicly an extended tax free holiday but where is the accountabilty for the bussiness's to give back? It's just another break otherwise.
I'm with you on large scale change but not at the expense of people getting screwed like many have been under the guise of (insert industry name here) deregulation.
