Sorry, it doesn't work that way. I can't hold it against any politician, (R ) or (D) for not creating a blog. There are a lot of ways these politicians can communicate with the public. However, if a politician chooses to blog, then they should allow comments.
And for the record, as far as I can tell, Patricia Madrid is paying someone to do her blog. Whereas, the other political bloggers I pointed out are at least taking the time to write their own blog.

Scott, Heather writes me all the time.
Last email I got from her was a response to an email I sent her about her hearings for the wiretaps. I was kind of nasty to her. She wrote a nice reply. Key point: she wrote(not a staffer).
Heather is the most accessible, friendly, down to earth politician I've ever met.

Heather was blogging before blogging was blogging. There's an e-mail newsletter with a "postcard" 3 or 4 times a month. All the back issues are on the web starting in 2000.

That's funny. All I ever get from Heather is a one size fits all response, if I get any at all.
As for blogging pols, I really don't care one way or the other. I really prefer to see what they DO and how they respond to the concerns of ordinary people.
I've noticed that Heather and Marty respond like trained dogs to the concerns of elite people most often, blogs or no blogs.

If I were Heather barb, I wouldn't waste a lot of time or effort responding to you either.
Being a supporter has perks.
No matter what she did for you, you'd still be a hopeless libtard and stab her in the back come election time.

I'm not sure allowing comments counts if you have a moderator remove/prevent any "negative" comments. Marty Chavez' blog eliminates virtually all discourse that doesn't line up with his views. He allows the odd challenge, just so he can say "No, I don't discriminate based on content. See, look at this post disagreeing with me?!" But most of the folks I know (including me) have not had their comments post to the site. So I think you should move him into the Madrid/Baca column.
