Mario, one way to cross references money and influence is to look at Butch Maki's lobbying clients. You would then look at the recent procurements at the state level and you see a pretty good match.

But the influence buying does not stop there. A number of Butch Maki's clients never make it on the lobbying forms. The way that Maki's firm works is you hire them as "consultants' and they receive a cut of the revenue stream on any contracts that they bring to you. No disclosure.
