It would be a breath of fresh air for the Governors office to tell the truth.
"I "Bill Richardson" vetoed this legislation because these were Republican Legislators requests. If voters in these disticts continue to vote Republican Legislators into office they can expect more of the same. Vote a democrat in and you get your money."
This is unlikely because the governors office back pedals on vetos and comes up with some lame excuse. If Richardon is so politically powerful, he should just acknowledge he is a vindictive partisan. and move on.

This is off topic.
I think our State should step up and help out the municipalities and people who are affected by the recent floods.
Why are we depending on the federal government to help us out when we have plenty of money to take care of our own.

We might have had enough state money to help the folks in flooded areas, but as it turns out Governor Richardson has other plans for our taxpayer money. He still needs our cash to extend his railroad into Santa Fe.
