I was wondering what you thought (or anyone for that matter) about Heather Wilson sponsoring the legal wiretap bill. Does it suggest that she sees a political advantage in being in-your-face anti-terrorist? Certainly someone else could have sponsored it and as much as Madrid (and a couple of your fellow panelists) want to paint Wilson as a Bush-bot she really hasn't been.

I can only think that as much as her opponents believe that it's all about the war and all about quitting, that a great number of voters believe it's all about the war and all about winning.

Dems. need to stop and think. A New Mexico U.S.Reps> main job is to snag the big Federal dollars for the state. Ms. Madrid has won election mainly on her name and sly tv info spots but in D.C. even if the Dems. win the House back she will be on the bottom power wise and if we can "steal" another election and keep the House she and New Mexico will be SOL in the feeding frenzy for Federal money. I ask Dems. to think, not about importing cactus, but the good of our state.
