Good way to cherry pick information on Marid from the Tribune endorsement.
You do know that the Journal is a conservative biased newspaper, right? Of course you do and that is why they have endorsed Heather Wilson. Madrid-supporters and democrats are much more enthusiastic about voting this year than the republicans, and not just because they dislike Heather Wilson.
The people in CD-1 don't need DC operatives to see that Heather Wilson is a diehard supporter of failed policies and has only recently changed her positions to give the appearance of being "independent."
People want the Democratic agenda and have waited to long already. The United States will be better off in January when the dems raise the minimum wage, make tax cuts for the MIDDLE CLASS permanent, make college tuition tax deductible, fix medicare part D, fix the No child Left Behind mess, and do I have to go on with the many other things that have been neglected by republicans for so many years that dems would take care of? No, I didnt think so.

Because it's just so easy to stomp one's foot and pout rather than try to get anything done that requries just a few votes from the Republican side of the isle.
The idea that Heather Wilson is some die hard conservative yes-man to the far right is a myth. A fiction. When I get her news letters my impression is that she's hardly conservative at all. It's politically useful to portray her as *associated* with Bush or Foley or someone else because on HER record she's practically in the center.
And I notice JD, you didn't say even a single good thing about Madrid.

It's great how the Cons blame Liberals of voting party over politics...ever hear of Carl Rove? And I guess it's time to hatchet woman, gays, libs, cut and runners, single parents and folks who own cats instead of dogs. If Nancy Pelosi scares you I hope you enjoy President Clinton. Don't you Cons want a top notch education system, don't you want to be respected in the world, don't you want some kind of fiscal responsibility, don't you think it's o.k. to give the American middle class a buck or two raise after nine years? And by the way, how is your savings plan for your next surgery coming along? Did you save your first $100,000 yet?
