Having filed out an absentee ballot, it is obvious that the process will not accurately reflect the wishes of any voter who does not enter the process with an in depth understanding of the issues; the ballot itself offers no useful explaination of the effects of votes for or against bonds or amendments.

When I mailed my absentee ballot I was startled by the sound of a paper shredder in my ear and a vision of a bathroom in an obscure NM county being packed with boxes filled with what looked ballots marked with "do not open til needed". Yes records will be set but they aren't going to be good ones.

I think the whole paper ballot scam is just a way to make it easier for the dems to cheat. I'm still in disbelief that a few thousand 'misplaced' ballots didn't show up somewhere in NM during the 2004 election.
Where are the republicans?
I think that if enough people were informed about what is REALLY going on (tax hikes, fee hikes and near socialistic ideas) and the bald face lies, a lot of voters would see through this administration.
