Update, Sun Mountain will likely invest the state's funds in the bransan company that is going to offer space tourism. Why does a billionaire need the states money is beyond me, but that is another issue.

T/space the company that was promised a state investment is essentially out of business. They had responded to a NASA RFP and did not received the bid.

No NASA bid no T/space, unless they rejigger themselves to open a mexican restaurant.

Here is another investment scandal in New Mexico on par with the housing authority. State of New Mexico gave $5 million to New Mexico Community capital(NMCC) to invest in small rural type enterprises. This was three years ago. NMCC has made two investments in three years. Two investments in three years.

While spending $300 thousand + a year on salaries and overhead.

In comparison, Fort Washington as the New Mexico advisor made more investments, bigger investments and managed more money for the state. There overhead and salaries was probably $200k-$250k.
