The 'rising star" newbie Barack Hussein Obama has stolen the media's hearts, it's not fair to Mr. Richardson, I mean where are Mr. Obamas trains or spaceports. Huuumm.. what is Bill's middle name?

You give him too much credit Mario. He is so excited about just having his name mentioned along side the likes of Hillary and Obama that he cannot hold a strategy together. He will make these errors until he is drummed out.
I have some insiders that say he is just angling for Sec State anyway and wants his name in the media recognition. He knows he cant be POTUS and he's not keen on VP.

I would be suprised if he is offered anything. He has lots of baggage that keeps growing since he is Gov. Must I remind all about the scandals at Los Alamos and his failed policy in Afgan, when he was UN Ambass. Now add all the failures and corruption of his Executive Administration, not a single person will use him except maybe DNC Chairman is about all.

Generally I don't pay attention, but...
A commenter elsewhere was trumpetting Gore/Obama.
The image itself made Richardson seem possible to me for the very first time. Obama is the media's darling, certainly, but are even his most excited adherents suggesting him for the top spot? Do people actually vote for a ticket where they don't trust the VP with the top spot? And *Gore*?
Hillary seems possible as prez, in a scary sort of way to those of us who have long found her "frightening beyond all reason", but is it possible that the Dem base will reject her? And go for Gore? (Please!) And if this is the best that they have to offer, somewhere down the primary line will primary voters suddenly say to themselves, "We do have a choice, there's this Richardson guy we've never heard of, been a governor for a while, talks real nice, and the Hispanic vote is significant..."
