McCain means exactly as portrayed in the ad. When asked how long he would keep people in there dying everyday, spending billions everyday he wont give a clear answer. "As long as it takes" is all I hear any republican say.

Americans dont want to be in Iraq for 100 years for any reason. We dont want permanent bases there. Polls make it clear.

Republicans would rather waste--WASTE--hundreds of billions of dollars in a country that doesnt want us there. Except for the governemnt officials over there taking piles of cash home, and military contractors receiving our tax dollars doing half assed jobs.

No context is needed for McCains position on the war..eveeyone knows what it is. Stay in Iraq, kill as many as you can, and then stay there forever to spit in the faces of those people who dont want us near them for a hundred years.

Gravatar Mario:

Have you looked at the blog at my website, www.schargel.com

You may not agree but it does provide room for discussion.

Gravatar Since you keep saying the New Mexico Independent is "a George soros operation" even though is one of many donors to CIM (which I had no idea when I signed on), can I start saying Heather Wilson's campaign is that of Exelon, Devon Energy, PG&E Corporation or the other energy corporations that have given tens of thousands to Wilson's campaign?

Gravatar LP,

I'm pretty sure if I went back through your posts from the last election cycle, I could find at least one occasion where you said precisely that, or dang near close to it.

Gravatar Hmm...perhaps most of you don't realize that we are still in Korea under peacetime presence. However, people just want the hell out of Iraq even though they don't realize the huge repercussions.

Gravatar George Soros has a had a presence in New Mexico for a long time. He has been paying Mickey Barnett for years to lobby to legalize marajuana.

Of all people, Mario, you should know this. You bow down at Mickey's feet once a week down at the JBs.

Gravatar People who try to compare our presence in Iraq to our presence in Japan, South Korea and Germany have bought into Republican talking points. Can you tell me how many Americans troops were killed in Japan and Germany after the were defeated? Can you tell me how many American troops were killed in South Korea after the end of the Korean War?

Gravatar And plus those countries(japan, south korea, germany) want us there and haveno problems with us being there. The Iraqis do not want us in their country and they should have the final say on that.

But whatever we do the embassy in Iraq has been built as a military base with the cover of an embassy so dont worry we'll be in Iraq forever, I know it is the neo-con wet dream.
