The Republicans with the immigration bill showed that the are not willing to take on the big problems in America. We can expect the minority to stop changes that need to happen to social security, Medicare, healthcare and the deficit.

Hello. My name is John J. Williams, M.S.E.E. I live in Albuquerque, NM. I strongly believe that Los Alamos National Laboratory must be immediately and totally shut down in the name of NATIONAL SECURITY. I also ask that you request a full Congressional investigation of the operation of Los Alamos.
All of the major Los Alamos security violations occurred since Tom Udall began representing that District, the 3rd. District (199
. I know an engineer who was fired from Los Alamos. Here is what he told me:
(1) He was fired after working there many years because, during one of his breaks, he was caught reading his Bible to himself, Leviticus, and his hysterical male supervisor had a hissy fit over it.
(2) Rep. Tom Udall practically micromanages Los Alamos. No significant hiring is ever done at Los Alamos without Tom Udall's personal approval. And that now - especially in the top positions - most of the managers are, to put it kindly, "Udall appointees." According to this engineer, 'Tom Udall runs Los Alamos Lab like its his own personal plantation.'
(3) As an unwritten personnel rule, atheists, foreign nationals, and people with bizarre sexual orientations are favored. Evangelicals, believers in Intelligent Design, "Red Necks" and Disabled Veterans are disfavored.
I am a Devout Christian, Disabled Veteran (Secret Clearance in Army), Electrical Engineer with sterling electronic design experience and a New Mexican since the 1970s with my family. About two years ago, I applied at Los Alamos for an engineering position. If they hired based on merit, the Lab would have snapped me up immediately. Instead, I got back a small mass-produced acknowledgement card from them after several weeks. I was never thanked for applying, never offered even one job interview, and never contacted by them again! After about six months, I wrote them back - never got a response.
What you may not know about Tom Udall (I know much more about Tom Udall, below is just a few things relevant to this dire National Security issue):
(1) 1970 - 1975: Udall took off to England to dodge the Vietnam War draft. During the Vietnam War, the sons of famous and powerful Americans who fled to Canada, England and Sweden to dodge the draft were routinely contacted by the KGB to try to recruit them. From what I was told, virtually all of those contacted by the KGB informed the FBI about the contact, and many of those that did not report the contact were suspected to have been recruited by the KGB. However, I can find no record of Tom Udall ever reporting any effort by the KGB to recruit him although his father, Stewart Udall was a President Johnson Cabinet Secretary and his uncle, Mo' Udall was Congressman.
(2) When Tom Udall was New Mexico's Attorney General, his office issued several highly threatening anti-discrimination and anti-harassment edicts. Were these edicts designed to protect Christians, Veterans or the disabled? No - not a single
