So, um, according to an insurance industry front group: If insurance companies didn't have to actually pay for any medical procedures, health insurance would be totally affordable.
Other hypothetical scenarios leading to the same outcome include "insuring only healthy people while they are healthy" and "nobody ever getting sick."
