Wow Mario.
Wow.
Republican David Iglesias was put under intense pressure by the Gonzales Justice Department to prosecute voter fraud but still didn't - because there was no evidence of it.
Social Security numbers, which Pat Rogers (a well known GOP operative who was a prime mover in the disgraceful firing of Iglesias) disclosed, are indeed private and not public information. Amusingly, Rogers's witch hunt did not turn up any voter fraud at all, it just managed to invade the privacy of US citizens for the crime of registering as Democrats.
I've read you long enough to know that you're not dumb enough (though you are occasionally blindly partisan enough) to not know the difference between voter fraud and voter registration fraud. The former is well documented but the latter has never been shown to occur in significant numbers and has lead to practically no prosecutions (only 27 in the whole country following the 2004 election) despite the Bush Justice Department's single-minded focus on it to the point of firing Iglesias and several other GOP federal prosecutors for failing to prosecute it due to lack of evidence.
I'm waiting for your outraged post on how GOP election officials blatantly suppress votes in heavily Democratic areas by withholding sufficient voting machines and ballots from them leading to 8 hour lines to vote while white gated enclaves have ten minute waits. I'm sure that's just coincidence, right?
Different election, same old story. The GOP wails and points fingers at supposed Dem voting fraud while doing everything they can to suppress turnout and strip Dem voters of their Constitutional rights. Engage in any caging lately Mario? The rest of your party has been.

Apparently, Mario never read the independent DOJ report on rogers' activities in '04 and '06 and his attempts to prosecute voter fraud that didn't exist. Nor did mario read Michael Coleman's Journal story this weekend that totally shot down national and state Republicans arguments on fraud (that didn't exist).
Also, Mario, people DO NOT have access to all the voters' information for a fee. Certain parts of the Voter reg information must be redacted, like their social security number. Rogers' supposed fraudulent cards were improperly redacted. So, Rogers and his P.I. had access to OUR social security numbers!!
How does that make you feel, mario? Guess the Republicans don't care about invasion of privacy for political gain. How much taxpayer money have we spent over the last six years chasing down Rogers' false claims? I thought Republicans were for fiscal responsibility! Guess not.
