Maybe he has an issue he wants to bring to the forefront and he thinks this is the best way to do it. Well good for him, but until we reach publicly finance campaigning for people like him who could get lots of signatures, his kind will never be elected.
Fred, run for office and you see what it takes. Collect signatures, folks saying they will not sign for one reason or the other. Raise money from Family and Friends, it is hard, hard work. He deserves praise and a hardy thank you for putting himself and his ideas in front of the voters.
Hey, I'm one of Boatman's students, and I'm interested in helping him get signatures so that he can run. I understand that 16,000 seems like an impossible number, but with the work divided among nearly 100 students in his classes, his peers, and him, it doesn't seem that absurd. That said, are there any suggestions on ways I ca get signatures or regulations on the signatures I can get?
