Why not mention all of the immoral businesses you and your company represent? Not that honesty is something you're accustomed to. Just ask Kathy McCoy. You lied all during that campaign. Luckily, the east mountains saw you for who you are. Nothing but a DAMN YANKEE!

I wouldn't want to be affiliated with Mickey Barnett right before an intra-party election either. Sorry, Mario. Selling out the Party for money just really isn't that popular with the folks.
You keep screwing the regular Republicans with your business practices, while the die-hard Republicans keep fighting the good fight against the Democrats and special-interest bottom feeders such as yourself and Mickey Barnett.

Hey I enjoy reading your blog, just a question or more of a suggestion for a future blog.
How can the GOP call the Navajo Nation Electric Facility Tax Credit (HB 178/SB 431) a cacus bill, meaning all republicans should vote for it? I'm truthfully an independent but consider myself to be a fiscal conservative. I do not consider an $85 million taxpayer subsidy to be fiscally conservative, but unfortunately a majority of GOP lawmakers in Santa Fe do.

I took a look at your resume, and you have a short political timeline. 5 years involvement in the Republican Party ain't much to write home about.
Honestly, you never really worked for the Republican Party. You worked briefly for two candidates. That's sort of like bringing a knife to a gun fight. You are ill prepared to run for something as far-reaching and important a job as being County Chairman.
As a rank-and-file Republican here in Albuquerque, I had to Google your name just to find out who you were.
Having a blog and losing a primary to Kathy McCoy is not what I would consider service to the Bernalillo County Republican Party.
When will you address your "working" relationship with Mickey Barnett?
As a member of the Bernalillo County Republican Party Central Committee, better known as someone who will be voting for you or Fernando C. De Baca, I'd like to see you address this issue.
Mario I also wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your Blog. Apparently you have someone paranoid within the party or are they in the party since they have decided to remain “Anonymous”. I think your candidacy brings some much needed attention to what is going on within the county party. There may be some out there who support the status quo and don’t see a need for change. However, I would point out the GOP struggles in recent years with county races and the lack of interest in recent years from younger republicans to volunteer and get involved. Don’t be discouraged with negative attacks from “Anonymous” party insiders (or are they) just stay the good fight, Debate is good if you can see the person in front of you making a point, and win or lose you have started that debate. Ronald Reagan once said “I know it’s hard when you’re up to your armpits in alligators to remember you came here to drain the swamp.” Good luck.

I, too, enjoy Mario's blog. That doesn't mean I am going to vote for him as our next County Party Chairman.
I'm not sure what Mario's candidacy for County Chair brings attention to? Fernando isn't one to toot his own horn, but you will find that the County Party is stronger than it has ever been.
You can hardly label Fernando's tenure as Chairman as "status quo". Having a South Valley Hispanic leading our efforts has allowed for our Party to grow. We are currently outregistering Democrats and are making solid gains in the Republican Party.
We have done very in County races, with County Sheriff Darren White, County Commissioners Tim Cummins & Michael Brasher as our brightest stars.
Baseless claims does not for a strong argument make. Show us some facts, and then we might have a serious discussion!
I've been out of town for a while, so I'm just catching up. I am very pleased to see that there's a race for the County Chair. Lets allow the marketplace of ideas encourage growth and make our party stronger. I enjoy interacting with the C de Bacas and have the utmost respect for them. I also respect Mario enormously for throwing his hat into the ring. It takes great courage to do so.
What doesn't, however, take great courage are bombastic anonymous posts. (Do you know that most Web sites log IP addresses?)
