Your video is a complete farce. The approval rating of congress is so low because of republican halting everything in the senate; even bills that were passed already. Republicans should rename their party the "Fillibuster-cans" because that is all they have accomplished. Plus, if you look at individual party polls, democrats beat republicans by at least ten points. Who's the party keeping the congress from working again????

If the democratic leadership was not beholden to the liberal fringe of their party, legislation would be passing.
The R's messed up by going native in Washington, the D's messed up by staying native in Washington.

Tom stop being a political hack. Here are some facts for you; The Senate GOP caucus is on track to block more legislation in the 110th Congress than any other in the history of the country. The Republicans are doing it at three times the average rate.
Tom, thank God most Americans don't rely on Rush or Hannity for their news, or Fox for that matter.
BTW Tom, most Americans agree with Dems on taxes, economy and the war. It it the Republican party that adheres to the fring. Those who call themselves Democrats has grown in the last six years while Republican affiliation has dropped. At this rate in 100 years the Republicans will be part of history much like the whigs are today.
Fred, actually it is good being a true believer in the Republican party. History does tell the story of our party, when we adhere to the principals of the party; lower taxes, personal reasonsibility, smaller government-non interference in folks lives; the Republican party does very well.
When we act like liberal democrats, I.E. 2002-2006 Congress- we do horrible.
I am proud to be a Republican.
Tom, good luck getting rid of religous right and big business. Reagan needed them for the ride. They won't get off until the tanks on empty. The party is almost on E. You guys are starting to lose that brand loyalty. To think Pabst beer was #1 at one time.

Well...All have to state is "Let Udall run his self into the ground." The local leadership of the Democratic Party will be all over him while Wilson will get an edge leading her to a US Senate seat.
Listing to the U.S. House Speker is not always good for either side....
lbjgal, Wilson needs to get past Pearce first. Whoever gets out of that primary will have had to spend a lot of money. Let us remember the National GOP is behind in fund-daising in comparison to the Dems. If early polling has Udall with a strong lead they may choose to use their cash in other seats they must defend. At a minimum the Dems will hold 3 of the 5 Congressional seats.
Also how do you suppose he will run himself into the ground? He won his District by the largest margin in the three house races. He doesn't have to pander to the base.
