My spouse works in the heating and cooling industry and this ridiculous change is going to cost a pretty penny! Not only that, the city is going beyond what even the federal govt is instituting in 2010. The city keeps talking about the rebates will help the rebates will help BUT the rebates only go so far and then they are gone! Plus Im not sure that the companies making furnaces and air conditioning units have something made to comply with these RIDICULOUS new changes. The city didnt even try to consult ANYONE in this industry before making this IDIOTIC decision.
