Happy New Year!! Thanks for your hard work in making a good, straight up Blog and taking the heat, it must get nasty sometimes.
They only got 41 inches of snow on Friday, how hard could it have possibly been to accomodate your family's vacation?
Couldn't you get a room at the lodge so you would have been able to walk out your door and get on the lift?

I am Mario's wife, and I've never commented before, but you're comment was really directed towards me since I planned the trip. I realize they only got 41 inches of snow, but the State Police were not letting people through. So short of busting the road block with our young children in the car, there was nothing we could do.
And as for getting a room at the lodge. I'm sorry, but please don't criticize a situation you know nothing about. This was a spur of the monent vacation and I called everyplace in Angel Fire and it was was booked. We absolutely loved the place we stayed at and wouldn't have traded the feeling of a home for a room at a lodge.

Opps, I told you it was my first time posting. When I pulled up the comment screen, it had Mario's name and homepage and I forgot to change it. So it looks as if he wrote the comment, but he didn't.
