It is my opinion that this is just plain wrong on several fronts.
1. If the Universities do not have enough work for them and can afford to lend them out then their positions should be cut
2. If the Universities have so much money then I guess the Legislature should cut their budgets and
3. If they have so much money that they can waste it then why not reduce tuition cost
4. I see a real possibility for conflicts of interest, where does their loyalties lay with the Universities where they are employed or with the state and their cabinet positions
5. This is both bad public policy and president
6. I can see this as a way around the budgeting process
7. I really question the ethics of this arrangement
Also I question the ethics of PNM lending the Gov one of their lobbyists to work in the Gov office during the session

All I hear is "Sorry students we have to raise tuition again for..higher energy prices or healthcare for our employees (even though we all know thats not where the money is going).
Thats one reason I left UNM...I dont want to contribute any money to that corrupt, highway robbery machine.
