My husband's paycheck is already "garnished" for health insurance premium to the tune of 30 percent of his total wage! Then we have to pay 35.00 co-pay per Dr. visit and more for a specialist. Then we have to pay 25.00 co-pay for prescriptions and 200.00 for an er visit not including tests. We cannot afford even basic health care with the co-pays after we are already paying so much each month for premiums.
I would welcome a standard wage "garnish" if my money did not go to some greedy for profit insurance company that is going to deny me coverage and send me and my doctor into paperwork hell when I really need health care.

Isn't the Chamber of Commerce behind the Governors plan? Hardly a liberal organization.
