Believe it or not, if a person is going to lie about a small thing, they will lie about a big thing (e.g., whether or not they will raise taxes if they were to be elected to office).

It is an issue of character.

Whether or not Gov. Richardson has the necessary character to hold the office of President is a very important issue. Everything he says should be scrutinized.
