The recommended new rules are only to require that House members who host high-bandwidth content (video) on other sites must identify that the content is in fact from the Rep in question, to try not to appear alongside commercial content, and to warn the user when the links they're following will cause them to .gov site to go to another site (such as youtube.com.) Did you even read the memo?
Boehner's big alert response letter is purely political posturing over a total non-issue and yet you breathlessly report it like its some big deal.
Since you're now so concerned about internet freedom, whats your position on Net Neutrality?
