part of the reason that facebook could be worth more than google, is the amount of data they have about each person using the system. Google assumes and generates data based on your browsing, ad clicks, location etc. Facebook has so much demographic information that a user enters without thinking twice. It's basically an advertisers dream, you can really target who you want to see your ads.

Microsoft does tangible things? And facebooks things inside the computer? hummm and TV? is just things inside the TV what's the difference? Or Radio?

Is worth that money because it makes money is just that! It doesnt matter if it is tv, internet or paper, or it is better if you can touch it?

There's no way the $100 billion valuation is correct. With an estimated 100 million users, each account would be worth a thousand dollars! I think the two billion is far closer to the truth, my 2c.
