Actually setting up the pre-approved process now with my lender. Our target rate is 4.5%. WHen it hits, we will be able to lock it in before it moves back up. We are currently at 5.75, so this would be a good move for us. I heard the rates were around 4.6-4.7 yesterday (1/13/09). Any news on your end?

Amazing. I can't believe the rates are so low right now. I like the idea of setting up a pre-approved process. Maybe I'll wait for a rate 4.4.

Sadly my credit took a hit when I lost my job. I am currently working on getting my credit score up now that I'm working again.
