I'm jealous, my vinca hasn't flowered yet! And you have a coral honeysuckle and mine is the generic yellow....thou shalt not covet thy neighbors flowers. But I have saucer lilies! Have you any other those?
My vinca is (are?) more like a carpet than anything else; it surrounds my 'back forty' and I have to actually cut it back with the lawnmower to keep it under control. The flowers are beautiful, though.
Sorry, forgot to add, this is a beautiful illustration you are using: even when you don't tend your garden, God still cares about it, and he keeps working on it for you.

cap'n, i've been missing you!!! even without your 'splanation, i knew it was you (heart knows heart!)
i desparately wish to go outside. my heart is out there, but my will wants to stay cocooned, in my home, safe within the walls. until we get an idea of what is going on for max, i almost don't want to leave the shelter of the interior of my house, no matter how nice the weather.
i know i should ride my bike, enjoy the freedom of long walks, dig in the dirt, plant, bloom. however, right now, i am really enjoying what God is doing without any of my help.
and He is saying, "it's okay - watch Me work for a bit and when you are ready, the canvas will already have been started for you."

Beautiful flowers, Pen. I laughed out loud when you said, "throwing grubs as far as I can." Those are nasty little buggers, aren't they! Just horrible! They give me the willies! And I can just see you throwing them as far as you can. Thanks for giving me a good laugh!
