i am absolutely in prayer for you, for the doctors, your family and friends. i have been around this potential issue many times, and would be happy to share any experience i can.
your words do not lead you astray, God does "got" you. our job is to keep reminding ourselves of that. your foundation is very solid, reading between the lines, (pti), there is nothing you and God cant get through.
lean on your friends and remember you are not in this alone.

Reading between the lines, a little -- the Lord was instrumental in your being able to answer the "taking action" step --- He provided bold medical personnel not willing to give you an open door or a delay door. How good He is to us! I say this with tongue in cheek, as this is (one of) my hardest areas -- putting my well-being ahead of work, family, etc. etc...
Of course I will uphold you and your family in prayer during this time....and have a group of ladies that meet each Friday morn that I will share the general request with also...

we took the weekend for a visit to gettysburg, pa - really cool place, we are staying at a B&B and the owners are lovely, kind and wonderfully accommodating. it's like God knew we needed to be here.

So grateful that God puts in place just the right people with just the right words and power to allow the process of getting us to where he wants us to be! Surpassing all our best ideas and protests about the how and why of it :)

I do not know you but I have been following your blog because I like the artwork and quotes and judging from the sound of your "voice" you seem like one who loves God and the life He's given us deeply. I am new to blogging. I guess it is an expansive version of pen-pals.
any way, I do know what it is like to have medical issues as I have lupus. I know what it's like to have (a zillion) tests done and have to wait for the results. I just want you to know that I am praying for you.
I was reading 2Macc 7:1-31 in which the woman who had lost seven sons gave an eloquent account of surrendering completely to the One Who made us.Then I tuned on my computer and read your blog. Seemed to click somehow.
