I think my decision would be different than this mother. That being said, I'm not a mother.
I pray that she will seek out those that can help her think about the questions you pose. None of us should be alone with these decisions.

It is hard to let go, but I think my decision would also be different than this mom's. Such a tactful and kind way to put that Ave. Thank you. I think if we believe in an afterlife where a loving God is dwelling and waiting, then why would keep someone on this earth, trapped in a body that isn't working at all anymore? I am not saying I would unplug her ventilator if she still had active brain waves....but a DNR is a "do not resuscitate." That means she would have already stopped breathing. Already died and they would be bringing her back. Personally, I would let her go, let her be at peace and in freedom from the body that holds her prisoner.
