Excellent advice for everyone, Penni. I think we all suffer from time to time and to different degrees from the selfishness thing, (she says as she nods her head). But you also make a good point by saying we do best to turn and serve those around us. I think that is why we are here. Pretty much. :)

my digression... I noticed the comment to your sibs. I'm just realizing how much my father's alcoholism has affected me, but there's still a lot of shaming in naming it as such.

On the other hand, how will I ever grow past it if I'm unable to name it?
