Most vacation foods are tricky for diabetics - not sure why.
However, a simple trick for discovering mystery sodas is to carry a pack of urine strips with your other supplies - dip one into any soda you're unsure of, and you'll know instantly.
Insulin can be stored at room temperature, so whatever you had in the fridge is still good.
We use Novolog for Brendon's pump.
