Congratulations!!!!
I am so happy for all of you. You've got a lot of work ahead, but as you already know, it will be worth every bit of it.
Just this morning Joseph said (after giving himself his breakfast bolus, with a small correction for a slightly elevated bg),
"Mom, I love my pump."
Me too kid. Me too.

I really want to thank everyone who commented here, via email, or via IM, or all three, regarding this issue. I am so thrilled with how this has panned. out. I have spoken to others in a similar situation and the consensus is, that while we ran into a road-block-creating RN at insurance, once the file was referred to the MD, we were fortunate enough to get a "pump friendly" MD.
We were screaming and dancing around the room, we were all so thrilled. Our son talked to the distributor rep and when she thanked him, he said, "NO. Thank YOU."
More on Monday... when we'll have our training!
Many thanks to all. I am really moved by all the comments & emails. XoXo
