Hi - I came across this page while looking around at Marin County landscaping... Sorry to see what the flood did to your property!

I always wonder what would happen if we landscaped our yards with more awareness of natural water flows. Sometimes it seems that developers forget that storms in California can be very powerful. Anyway, one landscaper from Marin County does beautiful work that could put your yard together again. Maybe a little masonry stonework to reinforce the stream bank?
