Haha, this is great! I’ve had quite a few pumps bite the dust, so to speak. Frustrating no matter if you have the backup supplies or not!

What?! You haven't had Binky for all that long...

Know how you feel...we just went through a similar ordeal with The Pirate and his asthma gear...what a pain! We now have a set for school, home, my parents and the car...we will not NOT be stuck like that again!

Here's to Thor...from Kong 3(The Pirate's new air chamber).

At first I thought Binky was the dog, or at least one of the rats. Is Binky's condition congenital? Will his relatives suffer from the same brain problem?

I also have Type I diabetes; am now 30 and I once ran out of needles and insulin on a weekend. Horrible! Now I carry extra insulin and needles around and keep getting stopped at restaurnats, clubs and airports!
I think your son is lucky to have parents like you, he sounds like he has a sense of humour about his condition and sounds like he is doing really well. It's a lifelong thing I think and there will be insulin forgotten and silly mistakes along the way (believe me - it took me years to get a great balance) and hopefully Thor will prove stronger and longer!

Pen tips? Yeah...I have TWO! But I have syringes. And a vial of levemir. If my pump fails, I should be okay.

Are they sending the software update on Binky II?
