Good luck in the coming months but does that mean you're going to miss watching the Ashes? I can't get to see the cricket on TV here and it hurts. I can listen on the radio though.
We leave here at the end of August so a few matches perhaps. We will also have no english tele at the rental, so lots of books being taken.
So will you get married in France or here?
Married here in Brighton, then fish and chips on the pier..... cheap as chips.
A move for only a couple of months. Hassle = yes. Result = just wonderful at the end of this for you and Wendy.
Watch out that precious items to you don't "disappear" from your new UK home. Yet do ensure there is space for Wendy's special items.
