I agree that debating on ideas is a great way to encourage the best out of everyone. Provided that it is a friendly debate, of course. There are just some people who take things personally and some who argue just for the sake or arguing. I hate that.

I think different viewpoints, differences in opinion, that kind of diversity in a company make for new and better products and services that would otherwise be non-existent if everyone always agreed on the same topic. Great post Matt. Gets me to thinking...
