Gravatar You're right. I can't tell if they're serious or this is another joke.

Gravatar I was just doing a search on that word and came upon your blog. I thought I would post this comment which appears on every can of regular Bud (not Bud light)... I think it might explain the awkwardness of the word choice:
"This is the famous Budweiser beer. We know of no brand produced by any other brewer which costs so much to brew and age. Our exclusive Beechwood Aging produces a taste, a smoothness and a drinkability you will find in no other beer at any price."

Gravatar im sick of joe six pack. ignorant buck toothed bastards deserve that shitty beer.

Gravatar Ever notice how easy water is to drink? The more water, the easier it is to drink. Are they finally admitting their beer is the next closest thing to water? Their customers are subject to "stupidbility".

Gravatar Bud don't have a clue - the ability to slam these suckers like water is hardly a reason to drink it.

Gravatar Their main competition is Miller Light that has a stronger flavor compared to Bud Light. This ad is trying to point out that Bud Light is easy to drink. Hey I like drinking the so called good beers that the beer snobs like but for things like football games I like bud light.

Gravatar I kinda relate this drinkability phrase to the watery taste it has so that women and sissies will be able to handle the taste and pretend they're drinking real beer. Why waste your money when you can buy a bottle of water for a buck.

Gravatar The term, Drinkability, bothered me more every time I heard it. It is suuuuch a useless word. It comes across as an odd combination of laziness and desperation.

Gravatar Listen, if you are having drinkability issues with light american lager's (ie bud light, miller lite, michelob lite, etc), then you shouldn't be using words like drinkability to describe beer anyway.
I mean no #### bud light is extremely drinkable, thats the point of that kind of beer.
Stressful life of a beer snob.
