This is a great post! A few weeks ago my direct supervisor brought this up at a department meeting. He urged us to flood the suggestions box for a four da work week.
Fortunately we work for a very progressive Google-esque company. The four day work week is not too far out of the question. We can already telecommute without any hassle.
Good job on figuring out a schedule to make the four day work week happen. It's good that you can come out ahead on the money too.
