Please help, tis is indeed scarey.<br><br>Nothing got deleted btw., taking into account the few Gb of the installed files, nothing got deleted.. I put well over 20Gb of stuff in my administrator directory, which btw. You say it is \"almost impossible to retrieve it\".  Well I have done just this.  And I am hoping that the almost impossible, is not, in fact, the impossible.  Can you give me a hand with this.  I have deleted the guest user, that my daughter saved all of her homework on, and I did not save a disk image. I can go to another user's account and open it without a problem. I even created a new admin user access account but I cannot open or access the original or find any of its contenets. When I try to open it the screen goes from the blue background to grey. The toolbar line at the top only partly opens(all I can see here is about 2 cm and the search icon. When I move the cursor to this I get the cloured spinning wheel icon. I have to hold down the start button to shutdown to get out of it. Any one had this problem/ideas/help??
