The Moving Shapes one is really cool. You can use any shape you want with it so I used my university's sports logo and it looks great!

$\"Gravatar\"$ These are awesome. Most are mellow enough to use as classy motion Desktop backgrounds too. Just set the screensaver you want as a background in the ScreenSaver prefs, and then use MagicDesktopSwitch to activate it.

I love the shapes one. I made a ghost shape and now have ghosts floating across my screen for Halloween.

It's a very cool effect. I'm not a fan of huge animated, processor-intensive screensavers, but the ones you suggested are perfect.

On a side note: the nice thing about MagicDesktopSwitch is that it acts like a switch. Once it turns on the animated desktop (by sending a Terminal command), the app closes. When you want to turn off the effect, just open the app again and select \"image\". The desktop image goes back to the still image and the app closes. No extra program running in the background other than the screensaver while it's activated. You can even add it to the LogIn Items and it'll start automatically whenever you log in.
