It's great for when you have a Dock Icon that gives you information like WeatherDock but don't want to have Dock magnification on all the time. $\"\"$

$\"Gravatar\"$ Turns out the inverse is true. If you have Dock Magnification and hold down Control + Shift, it will turn off magnification. This is very useful when you use Back To My Mac. The GUI is moving so slow, tha the magnified icons are hard to click on in the dock. Thanks for the tip! I will use this (in the inverse form)
