Yes, LaunchBar. Quicksilver has been in essentially a near-dormant state with few updates over the past few years.

Also, for learning keyboard shortcuts, I recently came across KeyCue from Ergonis, at http://www.ergonis.com/products/keycue/ Shows hotkeys for active app and global shortcuts. Only €20.

$\"Gravatar\"$ The keyboard shortcuts are worth its weight in gold, especially using Quicksilver and AppleScript.
I've got a page of stuff I learned about OS X in my first 2 weeks, including that Apple should just adopt/ship/extend Quicksilver. \"Install QS\" is everyone's first piece of advice.

This allows you to tinker with dozens of ready-made settings via the command line, and you will learn how to do so, and why you do so.
